A big disappointment

I loved DayOne Classic and quickly got the upgrade when it became available only to discover a significant function I used, sharing of a complete journal entry via FaceBook/Twitter etc., had been removed. It means, to give journal updates to friends and family of my travels (including the charity I am involved with) I have had to find a new application to do my journaling.

It seems incomprehensible that, 8 months after the release of version 2, there is still no adequate sharing mechanism. I feel ripped off.
