This app tricked me
I bought a new Macbook, and went to “DayOne” to install the app I’ve owned for years. I clicked on the price, confident it would download for free once iTunes realized I had already purchased “DayOne”. But no… I was charged $39 for a new version that I don’t need; the old version was changed to DayOne Classic (tricky). No big deal if Apple had refunded me. They would not.
If you’re going to create a new version of a product instead of allowing us all to update (which is frustrating in and of itself), at least have the courtesy to give it a new name or a 2.0 or something to prevent this happening. Thanks.
