Nice app but without E2E encryption it’s crippled for me

I’ve loved Dayone since day one of it being released. I never had issue with the dropbox sync and I journaled more than I ever had before. It worked awesome writing on my phone and then finishing an entry on my ipad or computer.

When Dayone2 came out I knew that the sync option had changed and they said end-to-end encryption was coming. I bought the mac app and also the iphone app. I want to support their development efforts but for now the app is crippled because it lacks the one feature I really care about to use it the way I used the old version.

I don’t think its a negative to want complete privacy around what may be some of your most intimate thoughts, so for now I give the app 3 stars as it really is a great app but limited for my use
