My Life is in This App
I have been excessively giddy about this latest version of this App. The addition of multiple notebooks has been excellant and has enabled me to contain most of my creative pursuits into one neat App. It’s quick and easy to add something to the App (and the companion iPhone app), the sync is fast, the App is well layed out and all the little extra things like the map that shows where you wrote an entry is great, what music you were listening to when you were writing, if you were walking or sitting. It’s all gravy.
I would love the addition of voice memos somehow, like allowing attachment of voice memo files from iPhone’s native app, but maybe that would bog down the sync part of things.
Nit picks, in case any of the developers get any ideas from these reviews.
• It’s great that the calendar highlights a day in the colour of the notebook you wrote in, but when you’ve written into more than one notebook it marks the day as black. Nit picky, I know.
• I’m used to calendars being represented as moving forward through the months as you scroll down (so that the most recent month be at the bottom). DayOne does the opposite.
• More colour options for notebooks.
