Great app, but has issues

I updated from the original Day One and like the look of the new version. The Day One sync works perfectly. The problem is that every time I start Day One on my iMac, I get a message that “Day One quit unexpectedly.” Then I try again and it opens. I sent a message to Day One support and a week later I got an email asking me if I was still experienceing the issue in Day One 2.0.3. (For the record I am.) Day One is a great app but they seem to have issues with fixing little problems.
