Going back to Previous Tool

I’ve been both a DayOne Classic and DayOne 2 buyer, and I like the look and feel and capability of DayOne 2. But today I have exported and deleted my information. I am leaving DayOne for the following reasons:
1) Continued Absence of Dropbox Syncing
2) I just don’t trust Built-in Sync and a lack in privacy controls - such as not being able to control encryption before uploading.

While others may like the social media features, I am just looking for a way to have a personal journal that can be used both on my Mac and IOS devices. These are private and not things I wish share. I have now gone back to using a previous application that I used before going to DayOne Classic over a year ago and DayOne 2 when it came available.
