Great program
It took awhile to get used to the new version but once I got the hang of it things went well.
I begin each day by taking a photo of an island in the lake I live on. It becomes my “weather pic” for the day. It’s so easy to transfer that photo from my iPhone directly to Day One and have it pop up on the correct day in my journal. With the capacity to enter as many as 10 photos in an entry this and the other photos I take during the day help bring life to my text in one nice clean entry.
Little is mentioned about a journal being a health resource. I use Day One to keep track of my weight, my meals and snacks and general health. I also keep track of some fitness activity to supplement what is recorded on my iPhone and Apple Watch.
Having kept a daily journal for over two years it gives me a daily boost to look back at what I did on the same date last year and two years ago.
I did have a couple of problems with the upgrade to version 2. The staff at Day One could not have been more supportive and helpful with these glitches.
I do wish though that Day One 2 had a comprhensive on-line Users Guide and video tutorials. The on-line help that’s provided now is a bit of a mish mash. Nonetheless this excellent program still merits 5 stars.
