way too High upgrade cost for TAKING AWAY FEATURES!
NO Icloud sync, and only view thumbnail format..bad update !!! I do Like the old Day One app, which would allow you to click on the picture to enlarge it and really get a good look and also use your iCloud account for syncing….But in this new version you can only use their cloud (sketchy and unknown security for my personal information and thoughts!) and it keeps image view in basically medium size thumbnail format.
To great extent I can see the benefits of much of the OS, but it really is sad that you can no longer sync to Apple iCloud and you only get small images to look at, when often a memory should allow for a larger view.
Basically, I wish that it had the option to sync with a company that spends millions in cloud security, as opposed to an app developer who does not, and therefore I feel that ,my personal info is soooo much less secure on their cloud service, and also the old feature allowing you to highlight images and then see them full screen if you desired is also lost to the new version.
YIKES…CAN I GET MY MONEY BACK!?!>?!?!
For as much money as this is I hope they can make ICLOUD SYNC AND LARGER IMAGE VIEWS possible in later versions. If so I could see this being a five-star app. Unfortunately, until you can keep the sync on a proven secure cloud (iCloud) and also view your images from the past in a larger format, and not merely tiny thumbnails, my review will stand at one star.
